Tippy Dam Reconstruction
Gerace self-performed all the work on this rehabilitation project, which consisted of removing existing steel handrails and platforms on existing wall, demolishing the wall starting at the powerhouse and pouring it back in a slightly different configuration. There was approximately 200 cubic yards of demolition and pour back. Gerace performed all steel rework so that it would fit the new wall configuration. We also performed approximately 2,700 square feet of spillway apron surface repair at 6" deep along with additional concrete and steel repairs at the intake.
